Backline hire, tech and transport.

Playback Systems offer a range of services for tour managers and touring bands. Storage and transportation of backline equipment is available from our central Brighton facility which offers 24 Hour access and an industrial scale loading bay. A VW LT35 2.5L Turbodiesel High-top LWB van is available with or without driver/sound engineer. We are happy to provide assistance to clients needing to move equipment at odd hours of the day. In addition, due to the fact that we all regularly work with backline and other equipment, management companies can save time and money by phoning through a list of equipment stored on our premises to be either prepared for transportation, or delivered to the gig in our 2.5 Ton van.

Storage is available in our fully Red Care Alarmed facility, with full industrial scale loading bay access on the same floor. Please contact us for a quotation. Current clients range from Virgin/EMI to local bands and acts.

Custom cables made to order

Our custom cabling service exists to provide our customers with their specific cabling requirements, all too often 'off the shelf' cabling is supplied in standardised lengths which may not entirely meet a customer's needs.

In addition our professional audio cables are built to the highest specification, including individual insulated sleeving of internal joints within a connector. The emphasis on providing cables that are terminated in high quality connectors, coupled with our belief that all joints should be properly insulated, means that our cables also last for much longer than their 'off the shelf' equivalents, with the added advantage that an internal short is virtually impossible, at a highly competitive price. It is for this reason that many bands use us for their cabling requirements.

We supply all manner of accessories for the industry, be they consumables or replacement parts, including flight cases, adapters, splitters, batteries, valves, deck arms and pickups, & recording media.
